About the role


We are seeking to add to our dynamic team of support personnel who enjoy working in various locations throughout the Sydney metropolitan area. As a registered charity and public benevolent institution, Your Aged Care at Home, aims to provide the highest quality in-home aged care and disability support services to our clients and their carers. 


Successful applicants are able to start immediately and will undergo induction, orientation and training before receiving a permanent schedule. You must enjoy driving as part of your day to day work.

Skills and experience


  • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (aged or disability)

  • Experience in providing support services to elderly or disabled people in a home environment

  • Excellent communication and reporting skills

  • Competent in the use of an IPad

  • Ability to work with limited supervision

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders

  • Demonstrated safe work practices, infection control, clinical care and manual handling skills

  • Current National Police Certificate for working in Aged Care

  • Current WWCC for working in NDIS

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:


  • First Aid Certificate

  • Manual Handling Training

  • Experience in the use of lifters, slide sheets, wheelchairs

For this position you must reliable, have empathy for the elderly/disabled, have a current drivers licence, your own comprehensively insured car, mobile telephone, internet access and available for 6am starts. Ability to work weekends would be viewed favourably.


Work locations vary but are predominantly in the Bankstown LGA and Inner Western, South West and Western regions.
